english – RSV Hose Liner Index: Inconsistent picture for raw materials
Even though producer prices are calming down slightly overall, glass fibres and certain raw materials are still on the rise.
Compared to the same month last year, a small minus sign crept into the RSV hose liner index GP-RS 0 in April - for the first time since the beginning of 2021 - but this is deceptive.
The average value of all three cured-in-place pipes indices fell in April and May by around 3 percent compared to the same month last year. This has to do with a base effect - a slight recovery is continuing for chemical products after there had been strong price jumps in the previous year.
The situation is different for those materials that require a lot of energy in production: The raw material price for glass fibres has increased by almost 14 percent compared to the previous year, aluminium hydroxide by 8 percent. The index value for the GP-RS 3 (UP glass fibre liner) rose by 4.8 percent in May, while it fell by 3 percent for the GP-RS 2 (UP needled felt liner) and by 9.7 percent for the GP-RS 1 (EP needled felt liner).

The RSV determined the data on the basis of the price indices (producer price index of industrial products). The GP-RS 0 forms the mean value of the various cured-in-place pipes, whereby this effect is different for the various cured-in-place pipes.
According to the Federal Statistical Office, the price of pipes made of concrete, cement and artificial stone recently increased by 14.4 per cent.
Unlike plastics, which experienced strong price shocks in 2021, concrete and stoneware only became significantly more expensive in 2022.
Achtung, Korrektur für den GP-RS 2 aus der Meldung für Januar und Febraur
In der letzten Meldung der Indexpreise hat sich ein Fehler in der Zellenformel für den GP-RS 2 (UP-Nadelfilzliner) für die Monate Januar und Februar eingeschlichen. Dieser wurde inzwischen korrigiert. Sollten Sie auf Basis der Tabelle den GP-Wert für Ausschreibungen eingetragen haben, berücksichtigen Sie dies bitte. Mehr dazu in der Korrekturmeldung.
Die aktuellen Daten
Hinweis: Das Statistische Bundesamt übermittelt einmal monatlich (um den 20. herum) die Werte aus dem jeweiligen Vormonat. Abgebildet werden in der amtlichen Statistik Preise für Rohstoffe und Produkte aus Deutschland. Der vom RSV ermittelte Index für Schlauchliner stellt eine Einschätzung dar, um Schwankungen nach der Preisgleitklausel gemäß des Vergabehandbuchs des Bundes nachvollziehen zu können.

Ein Blick auf den Baupreisindex...
Wie haben sich die Preise auf dem Bau entwickelt? Einmal im Quartal gibt das statistische Bundesamt hierzu ein Update. Mit einem Indexwert von 162,2 liegt der Indexwert für "Entwässerungskanalarbeiten Wohngebäude" im Mai nur minimal unter dem Höchstwert aus November 2022 (162,4). Im Vergleich zum Vorjahresquartal betrug der Anstieg 5 Prozent. Im Vergleich zum Mai 2020 haben sich die Leistungen allerdings um satte 36 Prozent verteuert.
